In 2024 Robinson and Lawlor embarked on one of our company goals of being able to offer our clients carbon neutral construction.
Our first investment was building a hybrid generator to power our construction sites. The generator uses 6kWp of recycled solar modules to charge and a 50kWh battery and supply the site compound.
Only when the battery is flat does the generator kick in. This has been a great success and has resulted in an 85% saving of fuel for the site compound.
