Ground Mount 16.8MW

Construction Dates – Mar 2024 – Sep 2024

The solar farm consists of up to 38,000 solar panels.  The panels are placed on top of steel frames, which are piled into the ground in a similar fashion to a fencepost.  The panel ‘tables’ are positioned at an angle of between 20º and 35º from the ground and have a height of no more than 3.5m from the ground to the top of the panel table.

Robinson and Lawlor worked as the sub EPC completing all works on the solar farm within the fence. This included all civils, mechanical and electrical work.

On average, the annual electricity produced from the project will be of the order of 13,500,000 kWh, enough to power over 3,600 homes.

“Thanks again to the whole R&L team for their dedicated support on our Bourton project, I look forward to 2025 and our continued collaboration” - Client
